I use a red-blue color map instead of the orange-blue color map to provide a better contrast with the Farallon slab surface, the focus of this animation. The animation slices the volume from the south to the north, revealing the model surface as the volume is stripped away. This illustrates how the model surface was constructed from the dipping features above the 410 km discontinuity discussed in the text.
