Geosphere, June 2013, v. 9, p. 546-556, doi:10.1130/GES00705.1, Animation 2 - This movie outlines the process of using LidarViewer to conduct manual vegetation classification and demonstrates the difference between automated and manual classifications at a site along the northern San Andreas fault near Manchester, California, using the NCALM Earth-Scope data (Prentice et al., 2009). See Figure 7 for additional details. Animation 2 is an h.264 video file in a Quicktime container. It can be viewed in Quicktime on Mac OSX and Windows, in VLC and other Linux-ported video players such as mplayer on Windows, and in all standard video players on Linux. File size is ~12.5 MB.
