The contrast has been adjusted to highlight the vesicle walls as light gray. Note the large interior bubble in this sample with the fine glass fibers that cross it. The large and nearly spherical vesicles in this sample are obvious and easily segmented from the glass and crystals that are also present. The volume of this sample is ~14 mm3.
